Lavender Hot Chocolate
Lavender hot chocolat is the perfect hot chocolate for the Spring or Summer season.
Sometimes you just crave a good hot chocolate, right? And suddenly you won’t be able to stop thinking about it all day long (or maybe it’s just me).
But the hot weather is not really appropriate for the spicy sort of hot chocolate you would drink during the colder seasons, so a lavender hot chocolate is the perfect solution — it’s floral, it’s delicious, and its smell is absolutely divine.
So here is my favourite recipe for a Spring or Summer Hot Chocolate :
Lavender Hot Chocolate
Equipment
- Stove
- Saucepan
- Sieve
- Mug
Ingredients
- 350 ML Milk
- 2 tbsp Culinary Lavender
- 2 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar (depends on how sweet you like it)
Instructions
- Heat the milk in a saucepan with chocolate powder and lavender
- Add cocoa powder, sugar, and culinary lavender
- Mix
- Turn off heat and cover up to let infuse the milk with the culinary lavender for 5 minutes
- Sieve the hot chocolate to remove the lavender
- Pour in your favorite mug (or place it in the fridge for later – it makes for a killer iced hot chocolate too)
